Deferred Block Proving #1592
Description
WIP / placeholder issue for now. Scope needs to be clarified. E.G.
- Update node RPC to allow for proven and non-proven blocks to be retrieved?
- Support parallelization now?
Once block proving is integrated synchronously into the store stack, it needs to be modified so as to be asynchronous / deferred.
Block proving is expected to take ~30 seconds on average per block. So once it is implemented, we will need to defer and parallelize block proving in order to keep up with the shorter (5s) block time.
