If no playlist is specified in the sdsio.yml file (that is, the play node is absent), the VSI3 script starts playback using recordings from index 0.
When playback completes, VSI3 writes a following message to the sdsio.log file:
Playback complete - no more steps remaining.
Suggestion
If VSI3 is not processing a playlist because the play node is not defined, a more appropriate message would simply be:
Also, when index-based playback starts, a message such as the following could be logged:
