lora search box not showing

I used to have a search box that I can search my loras with but it no longer is showing up. How can I re-enable it?

Quickest Solution

Open Settings in A1111.
Go to User Interface.
Search for Extra Networks or Search.
Enable options such as:
Show search box in extra networks
Enable filtering/search for LoRAs
Click Apply settings and restart the WebUI.

Reset UI Layout

The search field may disappear due to a saved layout.
Exit A1111.
Delete the file ui-config.json in the stable-diffusion-webui folder.
Restart A1111.

This is normally due to a conflict in other extensions; start with disabling all to see if it comes back.

Hi! If your LoRA search box suddenly disappeared, it's usually due to a layout change in the WebUI or conflicts from a third-party extension (like Civitai Helper or sd-webui-additional-networks).

Here's how to get it back:

1. Verify Card Toggle: Ensure that the Extra Networks panel (red card icon right below the "Generate" button) is toggled ON. The search box only displays when the cards view is visible.
2. Disable Custom Extensions:
   • Go to the Extensions tab in the WebUI.
   • Uncheck any extra networks/LoRA managers or Civitai extensions.
   • Click Apply and Restart UI.
   • If the search box returns, the issue is a layout conflict from that extension (check for updates on the extension's repository).
3. Reset UI settings: Some CSS changes get cached. Try hard-refreshing your browser (Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R).
4. Check Settings: Go to Settings -> Extra Networks and verify if there are any options related to "Show search input" or card size configurations that might push the element out of view.

Disabling Civitai Helper or Civitai Extension temporarily is the most common fix for this issue in recent WebUI releases.
