Complete 12-episode AI donghua series built with SDXL (via ComfyUI) + Blender + Remotion

I used SDXL 1.0 with a custom LoRA to produce a complete 12-episode AI-animated web series in Chinese Xianxia (cultivation fantasy) style.

Key details

• Base model: SDXL 1.0
• LoRA: Custom-trained on 30 character reference images for consistency
• Resolution: 1080x1920 (vertical, mobile-optimized)
• Sampler: DPM++ 2M Karras, 30 steps
• 15+ controlled keyframes per episode

What makes this work

The biggest challenge was character consistency across episodes. Solved with:

1. LoRA training on character reference sheets
2. Controlled keyframe generation (not random sampling)
3. Consistent prompt structure with seed control

Pipeline

SDXL frames -> Blender NPR shading -> Ken Burns + parallax animation -> TTS voiceover -> Remotion assembly -> MP4 export
