Question

Ask your question
I tried to order the aluminum version of the front panel from JLCPCB, but they could not do the production. I got this message from them:

"Our engineer mentioned that for 1 layer board, all content should be on the same side, but now the copper layer is on top side, the silkscreen layer is on bottom side, we are unable to proceed, shall we active the file-replace button for you to change the file and re-upload it?"

I used the correct gerber file, not the FR4 version. I also sent them an image about the finished alu front panel from your github for them to see how the finished product should look, but it did not help, then I cancelled the order and asked for a refund.

Any other comments
Originally I wanted the FR4 version panel in black as I did with all my modules so far at JLC, but as soon as I switched the color to black the price quadrupled. I have no idea why. It only let me do it in green for the regular price. All the front panels in my rack are black FR4, I have no clue why does it come out more expensive with EuroPi's FR4 gerebers.
