BUG: Flash of content when you hit the back button

## Reproduction 

go to a subpage, then hit the back button 
the content of the subpage flashes before seeing the table 

## what should happen 
it should not rerender before you're back 

This has to do with react re-rendering before the router knows and has reset the state to be the main page. Not sure exactly how to fix, but that's where to start looking
