Applovin's ads without a "Close" button led to Google Play rejecting our project.

It is happening more frequently than discussed and this is a serious issue. Every one out of 3 ads are displaying without close button, and they stay basically like that forever, there is no close button displayed ever. It frustrates the player and impacting app quality

You are basically forced to close the game because there are no other options, even if you visit play store, you still can't go back to your game. Because it will still be on the "GET" screen. and it's not that the app is stuck or frozen, it responds to GET part very well.

The ad behavior you're seeing is expected. While the close button design has changed (from "X" to ">> Google Play" or ">> Install App"), the underlying ad flow itself has not been modified.

Because changing "X" to "Google Play or >> Install" forces users to go to the store.
This violates Google's policy, leading to my app being rejected. What is the solution to this problem?
