How to reset/zero out Energy Meters (Electricity and Heat Energy)? #245

The counters are not stored in the hub, only retrieved and forwarded. They are stored inside the Daikin heat pump (the MMI also shows the counters). You can reset the counters in the MMI, but you will lose all historic data. The MQTT bridge can store the "initial" counters in parameter P45 and P46 and uses these to calculate the average COP before and after bridge installation. You'll need to store new counter values in P45 and P46 with command D5. |

Okay, I see. The 424 kWh recorded by the Shelly matches the sum of: 331 kWh from the compressor in heating mode, 85 kWh from the DHW (Domestic Hot Water), and 10 kWh from the backup heating. |

Hello again,
I have recently installed the P1P2MQTT hub and I've noticed that the energy meters (both for Electricity and Heat) were not at zero when I started. They already show accumulated values from the heat pump's internal memory.
For my daily and monthly tracking, I would like to start from zero.
Questions:
Is there a specific command to reset the internal counters in the hub?
If a hard reset isn't possible, is there a recommended way to handle an "offset" via MQTT so Home Assistant sees the value as zero starting from today?
Thank you for your guidance!
