this "deadbox" plugin of yours could cause it. angelchests is known to have this issue. the way angelchests works is that it scans for when you die, but instead of taking the items that such a "death event" carries with it (the items that you dropped), it scans your inventory for items. it then wipes the list from the event. trinkets are not stored in the regular inventory, so it doesn't pick up on the trinket drops and then wipes the list with the trinkets. if you're not using angelchests, it could still work the same way.
