Hub Events Not Working (Crashes) on Xcode 13.3.1

This Chrash happens only after update Xcode to version 13.3.1 the lower version of Xcode works succssfully but , the crash happened after done update

Enabling "Address Sanitizer" in the Scheme seems to fix the issue.

Enabling "Address Sanitizer" in the Scheme seems to fix the issue.

But once you detach debugger and relaunch app the crash is still there.

As far as I can tell, this is an Xcode bug. I was able to resolve the crash completely by replacing the following line in HubProxy.swift:

return self.subscriptions[eventName] ?? self.subscriptions.updateValue(handler, forKey: eventName) ?? handler

with this instead:

if let currentValue = self.subscriptions[eventName] {
    return currentValue
}
else if let updateValue = self.subscriptions.updateValue(handler, forKey: eventName) {
    return updateValue
}
else {
    return handler
}

I'm not sure why this works but it's been a reliable fix so far.

return self.subscriptions[eventName] ?? self.subscriptions.updateValue(handler, forKey: eventName) ?? handler

with this instead:

if let currentValue = self.subscriptions[eventName] {
    return currentValue
}
else if let updateValue = self.subscriptions.updateValue(handler, forKey: eventName) {
    return updateValue
}
else {
    return handler
}

I'm not sure why this works but it's been a reliable fix so far.

Yes this is an Xcode bug and it crashes on this line
