Trying to Access Old Map

Issue:
Haven't touched map in almost 3 years, trying to open and edit it for restarted D&D campaign. I believe the file type got messed with incidentally at some point since last touched it. When attempting to upload from machine AFMG doesn't recognize the file type.

Map File:
Vunlind - Copy.zip

I've searched similar discussions and found a potential solution with the "LF" and "CRLF" lines of code, however I am not savvy enough with that world to really know what I'm doing, without making it worse.
Ultimately looking for any help, and glimmer of hope that this map is recoverable. Additionally if theres any way to recover the map's seed I could at least work from there.

Ah that explains a few things. Its been so long i figured that had to have been the file since the names were/are similar. For now the .map file i was using is lost to the ether. However I appreciate the support and resources.

An update if you're curious,
and maybe this could be helpful to someone in the future who completely loses the .map file.

I was able to use the heightmap editor to semi rebuild the continental shape with help from the image converter.
It needs a lot of refining but i think have all the tools i need to get it close enough.
