Connect-AzContainerRegistry command not working

Hi folks,

I can connect to my Azure account and my subscription using Azure PowerShell Connect-AzAccount -Subscription and
Set-AzContext -Subscription commands. I have created storage accounts, VMs etc. without a hitch using Powershell. However, when I am trying to use Connect-AzContainerRegistry, I am getting the error:

Connect-AzContainerRegistry : The 'Connect-AzContainerRegistry' command was found in the 
module 'Az.ContainerRegistry', but the module could not be loaded. For more information, run 
'Import-Module Az.ContainerRegistry'.

error. I have recently installed Visual Studio 2022, Docker Desktop and WSL2. I was successful in creating a "dummy" app and deploy it to AZURE container registry via VS 2022. I wanted to connect to container registry via Powershell and that is where all these problems are happening. I am not an expert in Powershell. Please help.

Hi @anishuq , based on the error "The cloud file provider is not running." and that you have "OneDrive" in the path, I suppose this was caused by onedrive service not running and the necessary files in Az.ContainerRegistry module were not downloaded to your local machine.
You might want to try (1) enabling onedrive (2) disable onedrive's auto-backup so that your Documents folder won't be on the cloud
