The new Modifier Key setting is a great improvement, but it also creates an issue with Left/Right versions of keys because it specifically requires one or the other. It would be great if we could either add multiple keys as the modifier as an AND/OR, or just have a toggle for keys like command, option, and control that have a left/right variant to use both sides instead of just the one.
The use case with default option for example is using left option when doing key commands that use number keys (i.e. workspaces), but using right option when doing commands that use comma, period, and arrow keys, allowing for one-handed commands and navigation regardless of what side of the keyboard the bulk of the keys you need are on for that command.
