Approaches to building food web structure:

  • Niche
  • Cascade
  • L-matrix
  • ADBM
  • Latent trait model (LTM)
  • Random

END parameters and simulation settings:

Body mass:

  • For niche, cascade, and random networks, will use Z = 100 in the END
  • For L-matrix, ADBM and LTM, species body masses will be rescaled by dividing by the minimum producer's body mass.

Metabolic class:

  • Producer
  • Invertebrate

Functional response: Classic response, holling exponent = 2

No nutrients

No mortality.

END simulation output:

  • Persistence;
  • Maximum trophic level;
  • Total Biomass;
  • Shannon;
  • Evenness;
  • Resilience; (using EcoNetPostProcessing.jl)
  • Reactivity; (using EcoNetPostProcessing.jl)
