Samsung alarm fullscreen

Hi guys

Im brand new to Samsung. Was on a miui device previous to the s25u and had a great experience with the fullscreen alarm.

On the samsung though i can't seem to get this fullscreen display to work. I have the permission for fullscreen notifications granted but it just doesn't want to display it. The fullscreen only appears once i tap the notification in the notification list.

Anyone have any idea, what i might be missing?

I assume you have disabled all battery optimizations?
Or maybe another setting needs to be changed on your device. But which? 🤔

I've granted all permissions required / recommended in the settings and I've denied placing the app into standby.

I dont think thats the issue though (although i could be mistaken) as it doesn't work when I set an alarm a minute in the future and leave the office unlocked with the app open... :/

Edit: in the android-settings for the phone app I have an option called "Appear on top" which isn't available in the clock settings, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but i guess not, if it works for others.

The phone is fresh out of the box btw and i imported the clock settings from my old phone

@BlackyHawky I think I found the issue:
It seems that a running Screensaver (even the app's included one) prevents the full screen alarm screen to be shown.

I tried the app's included one, a Samsung included one and no screensaver and the alarm screen was suppressed both times a screensaver was running.

On my old phone (redmi9c) this didn't happen. I can try with the same screensaver I used on that phone if you like, but I didn't intend to use that one...
