In most cases you don't need the Team ID: when you add the integration and pick league → team from the dropdown, the ID is resolved automatically. You only need it for the manual entry (e.g. the mixed sensor that follows a team across all competitions).

How to find it:

1. From the ESPN website – open the team page on espn.com; the ID is the number in the URL:
   espn.com/soccer/team/_/id/9723/portland-timbers → Team ID = 9723

2. From the ESPN API – open this link and search the team name (id field):
   https://site.api.espn.com/apis/site/v2/sports/soccer/all/teams
   (or for one league: …/soccer/usa.1/teams, …/soccer/ita.1/teams, etc.)

Examples: Portland Timbers = 9723, Atlanta United = 18418, Austin FC = 20906.
