Patients Portal: Quantity as a possible dosage unit

There are two issues around this:

• HCI used to use piece a bit liberally. This is not acceptable in international standards and had to be removed from CH EMED administration units. Instead, the SNOMED code for quantity was added for compatibility reasons and not without its own bag of issues attached. This should obviously not be displayed by a GUI as Quantity so this has to be fixed first and foremost.
• Additionally, this unit should probably not be part of the proposed units when selecting a dosage at all, since it is only there for conversion and compatibility purposes.

Will be addressed as part of the on-going effort by @ronaldo-loureiro to improve the integration of medications index data. Two things should be achieved:

• Quantity when provided in the list of units for a medication by HCI, should be:
  • filtered out if there are other suggested units
  • if there are no other suggested units by HCI, propose the full list of dosage units (and observe the next bullet point).
• If there is not short list of units provided by HCI, Quantity should be removed from the list of proposed dosage units.
• For any other use of Quantity, a translation is not provided by eHealthSuisse. An issue could be raised but in any case the usage of this code should be completely avoided as part of dosage information. In case it is conveyed, a simple translation as quantité can be used as a transparent solution. Quantity could more easily be found as a unit of presentation by systems using HCI index to fill it, by the portal does not display this kind of information (as conveyed by the structured data) about a medication as far as I know.
