Buttons assignment for different applications

I have downloaded 4.0. It's pretty nice, scrolling is smoother than 3.5. (Logi G502x LS)
Happy to see there is buttons assignment function. But now it only acts as Global assignment. NOT per application basis. If this function can allow us to set different buttons assignment for different applications, that would be perfect.  Hope that it can be enhanced by next version. Thanks MOS developer(s).
