Initial Docker-Based Deployment for MonoMap Infrastructure

v1.0.0-alpha MonoMap Infrastructure

This release includes the initial deployment configuration for the MonoMap Infrastructure project. It sets up the following components:

• Terraform: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud resources with Azure.
• Reverse Proxy: Nginx configured for handling traffic to the MonoMap API.
• SSL Certificate Management: Let's Encrypt is integrated for automated SSL management.
• MonoMap API: The API for managing Monkeypox cases, with full CRUD functionality.
• NO-IP: Free dynamic DNS provider to map the virtual machine’s IP to a domain as the main URL to test the API.
• MongoDB: A database for storing Monkeypox case records.

New features

• Integrated Docker Compose for easy service orchestration.
• Continuous Integration through GitHub Actions.

Setup instructions

• Ensure you have updated environment variables for MongoDB, Mail Service, and Mapbox API.
• Run the Terraform deployment GitHub action to establish the services.

Known issues

• Docker installation inside the virtual machine may take a few seconds longer to initialize on first run.
