Terms of Use

Acceptance

By using Vidulum App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Nature of the Software

Vidulum App is:

  • Non-custodial - You control your keys. We never have access to your funds.
  • Open source - The code is publicly available for review.
  • Provided as-is - Free software with no warranties.

Your Responsibilities

Mnemonic Security

You are solely responsible for:

  • Securing your mnemonic phrase (seed phrase)
  • Storing backups in safe locations
  • Never sharing your mnemonic with anyone
  • Choosing a strong password

If you lose your mnemonic, you lose access to your funds permanently. There is no recovery mechanism.

Password Security

  • Choose a strong, unique password
  • Do not reuse passwords from other services
  • The wallet cannot recover forgotten passwords

Transaction Verification

  • Review all transaction details before signing
  • Verify recipient addresses carefully
  • Understand the networks and tokens you interact with

Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding cryptocurrency ownership and transactions.

No Custody

We do not:

  • Hold your funds
  • Have access to your private keys
  • Have the ability to reverse transactions
  • Have the ability to freeze your assets
  • Have the ability to recover lost mnemonics or passwords

No Financial Advice

This software is a tool, not a financial service. Nothing in this software constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.

Third-Party Services

The wallet may integrate with third-party services (blockchain networks, go.skip.build, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

  • Loss of funds due to software bugs

  • Loss of funds due to compromised devices
  • Loss of funds due to lost mnemonics or passwords
  • Loss of funds due to blockchain network issues
  • Any other loss of funds for any reason

Risks

Cryptocurrency involves significant risks including but not limited to:

  • Price volatility
  • Regulatory changes
  • Network failures
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Protocol changes
  • Total loss of value

You accept all risks associated with cryptocurrency ownership and transactions.

Modifications

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of modified terms. Check the repository for the latest version.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of your jurisdiction.

Open Source License

The software is released under the license specified in the LICENSE file. These Terms of Use supplement but do not replace that license.
