There is a new financial standardization being adopted in the broader finance ecosystem - ISO-20022. Initially thought this might require a purpose-built module to come into compliance, but a couple weeks ago it came to my awareness that applications will only use a subset of the ISO-20022 definitions. Furthermore - the best way to broadcast the corresponding ISO-20022 definition type would be to register the message as an event.
