RSS Feed block shows items in different order than the feed xml

The block should be showing the content in the same order as the feed, but in the example at https://www.colorado.edu/lab/weimer/ (Recent Publications), the items seem to be in a random order from the feed (https://app.newsloth.com/google-com/UVBSVFs.rss).

This is marked as fixed but I'm still seeing the issue here: https://www.colorado.edu/lab/weimer/ where the items in the feed are not in the same order as the actual feed: https://app.newsloth.com/google-com/UVBSVFs.rss

The reason this feed is out of order is because the google scholar muncher doesn't add a date to the rss items, so when the aggregator displays them they are in a random order.
