Controllers still flash as if they're still pairing in Pop OS

I have Pop OS installed and I followed all instructions (Including installing the nintendo-hid package) to get the joycons to connect, but every time, they fail to connect properly and their lights flash as if they're still pairing. I don't know what's wrong or what I should do next. I tried a different bluetooth manager, editing part of the bluetooth conf file and more that I don't remember. Yet steam doesn't even recognise that there are controllers. What do I do now?

Edit: A restart worked just fine, but pairing the joy-cons is annoying. I need to time the release of the second Joy con's pairing button jsut right or I will send it back to repairing mode.

Main issue solved. However, when I use steam in bottles to enable steamInput for train wim world 5, the performance was so bad, with every low GPU0 (My laptop Nvidia GPU). I would get 100fps or more but now I get like 15fps. GPU 0 would be at less utilisation than GPU 1 (My integrated GPU, AMD Radeon) for some reason, though, so I don't know if it's the controller's fault or bottle's but highly steam's or the controllers
