(Copy of Bug 2038951)
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:150.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/150.0
Steps to reproduce:
Using Mozilla Firefox for Fedora fedora - 1.0 (150.0 (64-bit)).
Using Extension: Simple Tab Groups v5.3.2.
- Open two tabs. Combine them with split view (let this view be called S).
- Switch the tab group. Then add new tab to the leftmost.
- You'll see a ghost block spearating the new tab from rest of the tabs. This ghostblock will appear before the + (Open a new tab) button.
- This ghost block can be dragged out to new window. When dragged out, it's S.
Actual results:
What actually happened is that there's appearing a ghost block from the split view of two tabs in another group which is being treated as empty space of tab bar (like how it's usually after + (Open a new tab) button). It appears right before the + button on tab bar. This ghost block is draggable like a normal tab within the tab bar of the different group on same window. When dragged out to a new window it shows up as the previously created split view. This action shows cascading effect, that is multiple split views causes multiple ghost blocks.
Expected results:
What should have happened is that when I switched the group, this split view should have been there within the original group, inaccessible to other groups, but is showing up as ghost block. The ghost block thing should not have happened (feels like peek-a-boo, guess who!).
