Allow not tracking requests made through client dispatcher

Currently we create and track a lot of futures. Often this is not necessary, as we never actually wait on the future or attach callbacks to it. Allowing dispatching requests in a fire-and-forget manner could allow us to shave off a bit of unnecessary overhead.
