help installing on microsoft powershell

i got to the point to where i have to enter command into powershell with password. when I enter the command in with what i know to be the proper password i get this message
0: Failed to get login info
1: error sending request
2: client error (Connect)
3: invalid URL, scheme is not http
I'm extremely new to all of this any help would be appreciated.
Update:
Still no luck but now I'm getting retcode:201. Not sure what to do here know I'm properly connect to the device because I can pull up the Verizon login page via local ip.

I figured it out, it was one possibly two things. You need to disconnect Ethernet connection either physically in your settings. My second issue for some reason the usb port I was plugged into didn't work for this process I switched to a usb port I knew I've flashed devices on with proper cable and it worked. To be clear same cable (carries data) different port.

can you post a screenshot of powershell with whatever you typed in there visible? I have heard of this error a few times.

Honestly I do not what service packs are or where to find that info. This is my first little project when it comes to computers.

I am I can access the Verizon orbic page, are there any device settings on there that need to be changed from the ui

I saw the same error. Telnet is not enabled by default on Windows anymore. I enabled telnet and it worked. Search for "install telnet windows (your version)" to get the correct powershell command for your system. You will have to reboot.

is it possible that this is a firewall setting influencing the installation? the installer comes with its own telnet installation, it does not need you to install telnet through powershell or anything like that.
