• large font size
• good terminal color contrasts, light background, shell history
• encourage to ask questions in shared document, takes time to look at shared doc
• sticks to the script
• writing out commands explicitly
• respectful of e.g. different operating systems

Bad version:

• jumps right in without meta-talk
• scrolls up and down too fast
• goes too fast
• silently solves error without explaining it
• font size too small, dark background
• complicated shell prompt with strange automagic, dark background
• not open to taking questions, "just try to pay attention and if you have any questions we can discuss them later today"
• not sticking to script, making large detour not covered in material
• quickly copy-pasting commands
• scornful of e.g. Windows users
