PA01 - Mute when no audio results in trim tones on constantly

Current Behavior

When the Radio -> Hardware -> "Mute if no sound" option is enabled, trim sounds sound in a loop with nightly firmware. In slightly earlier firmware i.e. around #6790 , it resulted in trim sounds not being played at all. Disabling the option and power cycling the radio appears to resolve the issue. Even with the setting off... the trim beeps sound a little... off... like.. there is a warble not present on other handsets?

Expected Behavior

Trim sounds to play normally, regardless of the setting.

Maybe fine tuning the mute/unmute delays can help. Let me see if I can reproduce it first.

In current 2.12 and main branches this happens regardless of the state of the 'Mute if no audio' setting.

Blank model (so trims enabled) and simply hold the trim down until it moves more than half-way. Simply pressing and releasing doesn't seem to do it as repeatably... perhaps related to time delay between beeps or number of beeps in succession? If you have Mute if no audio enabled on 2.12.0-RC1 it will trigger quite easily, disabling the option makes it less likely but will still occur as pointed out above.
