Rename Tab

A simple Chrome extension that allows you to rename tabs manually or automatically based on URL rules.

Features

  • Manually Rename Tabs: Enter a new title in the extension popup to change the current tab's title.
  • Auto Add Host Rule: When renaming manually, you can choose to automatically add the current website's host to the renaming rules for convenient automatic renaming later.
  • Rule-Based Automatic Renaming: Add multiple renaming rules to automatically change tab titles based on URL or host.
  • Regular Expression Matching: Use regular expressions in rules for more flexible URL matching, catering to more complex renaming needs.
  • Rule Management: Easily add, edit, delete, and view saved renaming rules.
  • Title Placeholder: Use the ${title} placeholder in the new title of a rule to preserve part of the original title. For example, you can change the title to "Reading - ${title}".
