Feature description

I would like to send an email to the guests of an event. The user can choose between standard text (e.g. "Running 5 minutes late", "Need to reschedule", "Start without me, joining later", etc.) or a custom message. The message is sent to all event participants via the installed email program (To: all guests, Subject: Event name, Body: standard text or empty (if custom message was selected).

In the UI, the action could be placed somewhere at the bottom, below the guest list. Maybe below the status of the event (confirmed/tentative/canceled).

Why do you want this feature?

I assume I'm not the only one who needs to notify guests that I'm running late or need to reschedule. Doing this with one participant is easy (still need to manually refer to the correct event name and find the guests email in my email program), but it becomes tedious with more than one guest.

Additional information

ETAR implements this quite well. I prefer however the customizability of fossify calendar.
