Steps to reproduce the bug
- Go to file manager
- Open folder on internal storage (here: "Sync")
- Navigate to subfolder (here "Backup Einstellungen")
- Multiple sub-subfolders (e.g. "Calibre") does not appear as folder but is shown as a file (see attached image)
Expected behavior
Folders are correctly recognized and are displayed accordingly. Folders can be accessed via Fossify File Manager.
Actual behavior
Multiple, but not all folders within the same directory are displayed as files and cannot be accessed.

Additional information
- All affected folders have a shown "file" size of 3.4 KB
- They cannot be accessed from Fossify File Manager
- Stock file manager of OS shows them correctly (see second image); content is accessible
- Renaming of affected folders (or parent folder) solves the issue
- Moving to a different location (e.g. new folder within same directory) also solves the issue
- Potentially relevant: Directory and all subfolders are synced between phone and PC via Syncthing.
- Whether the same issue was already present in Simple File Manager is unknown
