Failed to verify cert

Hey, I've tried building an image with quick start but ran into this error, and I know too little to get further. I'm guessing I need to get the cert from https://service.planetaryannihilation.net/GC/Authenticate and trust it, and I tried. Idk if I need to reformat it from pem to something else or if this is in the right direction for the solution.

Could not contact https://service.planetaryannihilation.net: Post "https://service.planetaryannihilation.net/GC/Authenticate": tls: failed to verify certificate: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority

So, if someone else stumbles upon this and gets further. Comment here with your findings

How to reproduce it

1. run the quick start command with sudo
2. let things run and fail.
