Custom GitFlow cofiguration help

Hi,
First things first, thank you for creating this tool!

For 2 weeks we tried to specify the yml configuration file to work with our workflow but we couldn't come up with a viable solution.
It would be appreciated if someone could suggest a proper configuration to the following example:

• we have 3 branch types: master, dev, and feature
• on every branch, we would like to count all of the +semver: major|minor|patch commits properly, e.g.:

dev:
1.0.0     +semver: minor
1.1.0     +semver: patch
1.1.1     +semver: minor
1.2.0

• we could achieve this by using GitVersion 5.12 and Mainline mode
• but we don't want to count all of the commits during a feature branch merge, just only ones for the "biggest" step, e.g.:

feature version: 1.2.0 -> merge into dev 1.0.0 -> dev version: 1.1.0 

• or in the case of we would like to merge a feature branch with 2 or more major commits into dev, then only should increase the major version of the dev with one

I'm up against a similar wall trying to get something that works in v6. Prior to v6 our configs may have been a bit quirky sometimes but they worked without much grief. v6 I've struggled too.

Could I suggest taking a look at the test scenarios in the code and add one that covers your situation? I think better documentation of how v6 actually works would be helpful.
