Chapter Onboarding

Welcome to Global AI Community.
This page covers everything you need to set up your chapter and get started.

1. Set Up Essentials

Chapter Email

  • Set up your official Global AI chapter email
  • Use this email for all tools, access requests, and communication

Join Discord

  • Join the Global AI Discord server: discord.gg/NMryZKPC3m
  • Make a request to join #new-chapter-lead Discord channel by emailing your discord username to support@globalai.community.
  • This is where announcements, updates, and support happen

2. Chapter Dashboard (Umbraco)

Log in to your Chapter Dashboard and complete the following:

Chapter Details

  • Add a short chapter description

Organisers

  • Add all organisers
  • Include profile picture
  • Add social handles (LinkedIn, X, etc.)

3. Chapter LinkedIn Page Setup

We highly recommend creating a LinkedIn Showcase page for your chapter to enhance visibility and engagement and not a regular LinkedIn page. LinkedIn Showcase pages are specifically designed for highlighting different aspects of a company or organization, making them ideal for chapters within a larger community like Global AI.

Please make a request to support@globalai.community to create your chapter’s LinkedIn Showcase page.

4. Meetup Group Setup

Please follow the instructions in the MeetUp Benefit document to request your chapter's Meetup group setup.
