Thanks for the great work, It works on my Costway minisplit came without wifi

I have a minisplit from Costway. It's 240V 12000 btu unit. The unit came without wifi capability.

After I understood the unit is rebranded AUX unit and found your Git I decide to add wifi to it. In my case the unit did not come with wifi and no connector either. When pull out the mainboard I find this:

And I soldered a connector to it:

Then following your instruction to do this:

Once I tested it's working I tape the unit inside and made it permanent. I was using esp8266 esp01 board, it works just fine. Thanks again for your great work.

Here is my issue, when the unit is set to cool, if it cooled past the set point it will stop cooling but the fan is still running, can the fan also be set to stop?

I am just wondering when the AC cool to below the set point, could I make it go into full idle mode, meaning both the cooling and fan stop, when the temperature rise passes the set point, both cooling and fan start again.

Ouch! I see.
Cool mode behaviour is internal AUX thing. We can't change it.
But you can write automation for that purpose in HA or in ESPHome. Just send command to AC as needed. It will annoy you with beeps every time, but you can cut beeper out or desolder one of its legs.

BTW I have to say that AC manufacturers have reason to make such working cycle. If you disable the fan, air stops actively mixing in your room and the air conditioner can't measure average air temperature. It able to measure ambient temperature only near the device. Thus it could start cooling too early or too late.
I don't recommend AC disabling as a step of cooling/heating cycle.
