Use HeliBoard with physical numpad

Hi dev team, thanks a lot for the mega work. Such a useful project!

I would like to use a physical numpad (not keyboard) at the same time as HeliBoard. I saw that some physical keyboard functionalities have been disabled with 3.6, is there any plan to roll back those or at least for numpad only as there may be less conflicts?
