DBB compatibility with C/C++ source management

Would DBB be able to process C/C++ sources?
I'm thinking in particular of scanners that analyze dependencies.

Have any DBB customers already implemented build procedures for C/C++ programs and could provide us with examples?

We are in DBB 2.0.0 and zAppbuild 3.0.0…
I think C language scanner is mandatory to identify dependencies… does DBB 2.0.0 own this language scanner ?

zAppbuild is not a problem but upgrading DBB is a challenge.
