是有人动了grounding_dino里面的什么文件阿 几个月前相同的流程安装好了 这几天安装死活报错 到底是改成啥了阿

Side note / Recent Discovery (Might help others facing installation issues with Grounding-DINO)

I wanted to share a recent fix that worked for me, which might help others who are struggling to run Grounding-DINO on H100 GPUs.

Environment:

• GPU: H100
• CUDA: 12.1
• PyTorch: 2.3.0

The Problem:
The compilation succeeded directly on the H100, but running the code resulted in the following error:

error in ms_deformable_im2col_cuda: no kernel image is available for execution on the device

The Solution:
I added the H100 architecture flag to the NVCC compilation arguments in Grounding-DINO's setup.py file. Specifically, I added:

"-gencode=arch=compute_90,code=sm_90",

After adding this and recompiling, the code ran successfully.

Root Cause Analysis:
I noticed a discrepancy between the setup.py files of two repositories:

1. The version included in Grounded-SAM-2
2. The latest version in the official GroundingDINO repository

The lines in official repo above diffrent from Grounded-SAM-2:
