Pack doesn't install or uninstall

• I'm running the latest version or the one prior of the Windows 10to7 Transformation Pack (I checked the changelog on the downloads page before opening the issue).

Summarise the issue

The pack is not in the list of uninstall programs in the Control Panel, and it cannot be installed. When I install it, it thinks I don't have it, but I do. and it never finishes installing. It never restarts. And now the pack is in this very broken state. How do I fix this?

What do you mean that it doesn't finish installing? Does it go to stage 2 and then restart normally into windows or doesn't it go into stage 2.

Okay that's a bit more worrying. Could you try unselecting the "Install Windows Media Center" option and see if the same thing occurs? I do not think WMC is the culprit but this gives me a bit more information.

From what I'm seeing in the code it could be related to the Windows 7 gadgets but the video expired so i'm not too sure if it died before then or after.
