[OTH] LG C1 - VNC Connection (RDP like-streaming)

I don't know if this is possible. I am trying to figure it out but I am having difficulty.

I have the LG C1 working beautifully with the LG Companion, but it does have to turn on the Television, when I want to VNC to the computer only for maintenance (I have light sensitivity so working from my computer is easier for maintenance).

Is it possible to use the global streaming option to allow me to connect to the television without having the screen on?
Or is it possible to have the screen go on and then turn off afterwards?

I have the LG Companion on the computer connected to the LG C1, but is it possible to have it on another computer to switch the screen off maybe ??????

Thanks and it is okay if none of these things are possible. I just have not been having any luck with virtual display drivers, etc...

Hi, well there is the option to support streaming clients like RDP, steam etc. But it does not support vnc. I could maybe look into supporting vnc, as a feature.

As a workaround you can experiment with controlling the screen manually with the command line. Both "lgtv companion.exe" and "lgtvcli.exe" can accept a bunch of 'em. Maybe vnc can run a command when connecting? If, not maybe pin a shortcut to the start menu to manually power off TV when clicked. -poweroff is the command to do this.
