My main issue when using JCoRe projects is still the fact that there is no central location where I could get the import-by-name path of the descirptors from. For the opennlp pos tagger and chunker I now just created a README.md showing this information. This is of a bit of convenience.
Another idea would be that all JCoRe tools specify a meta data file. The format of this file would be exactly the one currently maintained by the CPE Builder tool. This would have two advantages:
The descriptor location would always be available
The CPE Builder tool wouldn't have to maintain these meta data by itself but could just assemble it from the JCoRe repository.
