Hi! This repository will contain my attempts at each challenge for the Advent of Code puzzle advent calendar, released every year for the festive season. I'll be competing with my coursemates this year on a private leaderboard- so hopefully I'll stay motivated to get as far as I can.
My aim for this project is to practice coding in Java, a language I have only recently been learning through university. I would like to get comfortable enough to begin writing larger applications, so Advent of Code is a great way to improve not only familiarity with the language but also my computational thinking skills.
