Project: Brownfield of Dreamns Group Member Names: Ethan Grab, Jeremy Bennett
Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project? To begin implementing industry practices within an existing Rails repository including consuming an API, behavior driven development, and developer empathy.
Goals and expectations: Our goal is full functionality with 3's in each evaluated category.
Team strengths: Ethan feels strong in Git workflow, big picture design Jeremy feels strong in Behavior Driven development and api endpoint building.
How to overcome obstacles: Open, clear, communication throughout the project on a daily basis.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?): We will work together to set automation, install RuboCop and deploy the app. We will take the first few days to get comfortable with the code base and user stories.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?): TBD
Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): We both are unfamiliar with working in another developer's code base and would like to develop this skill.
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): We are going to spike for as many user stories as possible, even the ones that don't specify a spike. We plan on implementing a spike-per night schedule for the first week and will reconvene about future iterations.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests): We will review, comment, and discuss the code base on GitHub.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Follow the ASK format.
