Hi @ShauryaJain03, the GSoC candidate selection at JdeRobot is ongoing. No further is required on your side. Beyond GSoC, as RoboticsAcademy is an open source project, you are more than welcome to fix issues/ create enhancements etc and create pull requests at any time. Just interact with the developers and users at the corresponding repo. Yes, you can start contributing by using RoboticsAcademy (=RA), developing solutions to several of its exercises and providing feedback about them, always through the repo. I would suggest first start as a RA user and once you get familiar and understand the base code, feel free to play with it as a developer, following the developer guide you just mentioned. Cheers, |

Greetings mentors and JdeRobot community!
I am Shaurya Jain, a pre-final year BTech student at IIIT Allahabad with a strong interest in Robotics and AI.
I’ve submitted my GSoC 2025 proposal for the Project 8 - “Migration and Enhancement of Industrial Robotics Exercises with ROS2 and MoveIt2”, and I’m really excited about the opportunity to work with JdeRobot this summer.
Over the next few weeks, I’d love to stay engaged with the community and it would be really nice if I could get some guidance on where I could start contributing in any manner, be it documentation, small bug fixes or even discuss ideas towards the betterment of JdeRobot and particularly RoboticsAcademy.
I have been through the contributor instructions provided here. Do I proceed with generating a RADI or maybe beta-testing some existing exercises?
Looking forward to learning from you all and becoming a part of the JdeRobot family.
Cheers,
Shaurya Jain
