[Feature Request] - Extend Forward Open To Handle I/O Comm

Great work on this library!

The library handles explicit communication, but is there any chance to modify the forward open so handle implicit communication for I/O via 2222/udp?

Wondering if we could find enough contributors to plan for supporting implicit comms as well. EIP is too prolific to not have a FOSS implementation. Would be great if we have the level of open source support as EtherCAT.
