doc tests

It would be nice to have some sort of tests on the notebooks to make sure they produce the expected output and don't suffer from bit rot over time.

Will we be able to do this if we use the convert_doc() function from Weave.jl to convert the notebooks to Julia scripts which we then test as done in jump-dev/JuMP.jl#1712?
