The error App '730' state is 0x202 after update job usually means that the CS2 server files were not successfully downloaded or written to disk, which results in missing files like cs2.sh or gameinfo.gi.

In my case, the root cause was insufficient usable disk space, even though the disk itself was already expanded.

My setup
Hyper-V VM
Debian (VPS-style setup)
WISP (Pterodactyl-based panel)
What happened

I increased the disk size in Hyper-V, but the Linux system was still using the old partition size (~125GB).
As a result, SteamCMD failed during download/update and returned 0x202.

Fix (what actually solved it)

After extending the disk, I had to manually expand the partition and filesystem:

Fix GPT (if prompted)
Remove swap partition (it was blocking the resize)
Extend root partition to full disk
Resize filesystem (ext4)

Steps (simplified):

swapoff -a
apt install parted -y
parted /dev/sda
inside parted:
Fix (if prompted)
print
rm 3 # remove swap
resizepart 2 100%
quit

resize2fs /dev/sda2

Then I recreated swap as a file (optional but recommended).

After this, the system had full disk capacity available (~700GB), and the CS2 server installed and started normally.

General recommendation (WISP / Pterodactyl)

If you're running into this error:

Verify real disk space on the node, not just panel limits
If the disk was resized → ensure partition + filesystem are also resized
Try a fresh server, not reinstall
Ensure /home/container is writable
Summary

In my case, the issue was not the egg, but the environment:

Disk was expanded, but the OS was still using the old partition size → SteamCMD failed → 0x202

After properly resizing the partition and filesystem, everything worked as expected.
