Unloaded craft on a launch clamp still boils off fuel

Reproduction steps:

1. Launch a craft with a launch clamp that supplies fuel and a tank full of fuel that boils off.
2. Observe the tank stays full as the launch clamp refills the tank faster than the fuel boils off.
3. Exit the flight/launch scene back to the space center.
4. Time warp ahead.
5. Return to the flight/launch scene.
6. Observe tanks are empty and the launch clamp takes time to refill them.

In what context would this show up? When are you loading a vessel and then leaving the flight scene, without returning before boil-off could seriously affect your mission? And furthermore: in what case is this a serious problem?

The most recent case was that I Launched an interplanetary vehicle a few hours late so it needed to idle for about 20 hours on the pad, and I had things I needed to do during those 20 hours so I left the flight scene to do them.

It became a problem when I came back and didn't realize the tanks were empty, so I launched half fueled and that went predictably poorly.
