I got my plug set up and flashed with Tasmota, and integrated with Homebridge via the homebridge-tasmota-control plugin (in case other users are interested in this setup).
Interestingly, both Tasmota shows the incorrect status both in the UI and in the console before you apply the template from the bottom of the README. For clarity: the console says the plug is OFF, the UI says the plug is OFF, but my lamp plugged into the PF12 is clearly on.
Adding the template via "Configure Other" fixes this problem, so I figured I would mention that it might be helpful to add to the README. Happy to open a PR.
Really enjoying my PLF12 now that it's set up, it feels significantly snappier than every commercial / closed source home automation I've used in the past!
