Feature Request: Enable model selection in chat for OpenAI compatible mode

Problem

Currently, when using OpenAI compatible mode, users need to create multiple profiles per model to switch between different models. This leads to a very complicated configuration setup and makes it difficult to quickly switch between models during development.

Proposed Solution

Add the ability to select AI models directly within the chat interface when using OpenAI compatible mode, similar to how other AI assistants allow model switching without requiring separate configurations.

Current Workaround

Users currently have to:

1. Create separate profiles for each model (e.g., claude-sonnet-3.5, claude-sonnet-4.5, gpt-4o, etc.)
2. Manage complex configuration files
3. Switch profiles manually to change models

Expected Behavior

• When in OpenAI compatible mode, users should be able to select from available models in a dropdown or similar UI element within the chat
• Model selection should be dynamic and not require pre-configured profiles for each model
• The current model should be clearly indicated in the chat interface
